Session #1:

Getting started in M: Learn the structure of and syntax of M code.
Primitive values: Understand the nine basic value types in M and how they behave.
Session #2:
17th February 2026 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (GMT)
Lists: Create and transform lists to solve common problems.
Records: Discover how to work with records to tackle tricky transformations
Errors: Learn to handle errors with simple techniques so your queries remain stable.
Session #3:
24th February 2026 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (GMT)
Tables: Create and transform tables using common functions.
Types: Learn how M assigns and converts data types.
Functions (Part 1): Turn existing queries into reusable custom functions.
Session #4:
3rd March 2026 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (GMT)
Functions (Part 2): Discover how to simplify function syntax.
Iteration: Learn to apply transformations to every item in a list or table.
Optimization: Discover techniques to make your queries run faster.

What happens if I can’t make a live session?
All sessions are recorded and shared with registered participants. Therefore, if you miss a class, you will get access to the replay so you can catch up in your own time.
Recordings will remain available until 31st March 2026.

What is the refund policy?
The course is provided within the existing Excel Academy membership. Therefore, the same refund policy applies.
